Davey Scott over Rachel Ryan in the finals. And Salyards will retain her championship. As will Taleis. And I really don’t care about any of those other matches.
Ed: I’m not so sure anyone can beat Traci Lane right now, and I’ll have to agree with you on Salyards retaining her championship, and Taleis as well. But I’m not so sure that Davey will make it to the finals. I’m thinking Rachel Ryan over Monty in the finals. We’ll never find out if we don’t get to ringside!

I’m hungry for it and I’ve set my sights on winning it. Do you know what?
Mr. America: Even if I don’t win the tournament I’m not going to flinch. Frankly, it’s a well-known fact that I’m one to beat. I’ve put in a year in the UCP/OWA and it’s about time I did something other than talk to get recognition, and winning the UCP title will do that for me. I don’t care who walks out tonight as champion. If it’s Monica Brant or Adam Sanchez, it’s going to make my life that much easier. If it’s Traci Lane, then I’ll have to work a bit harder but I plan on beating her. The point is, I *will* win that title. Look at the line-up in the UCP we have now after the hiatus. Taleis, Lane, Ryan, Salyards, and Donnie are the only decent bunch we have left. A lot of the others packed up and left. We got an influx of lame to go along with the lame that were already here!
Shelly: You seem a bit upset.
Mr. America: Don’t mistake upset for being focused. The UCP hasn’t been the same since the hiatus and it’s about damn time someone did something about that. Take a look at the current roster. We have Adam Sanchez. Some dork who comes in here and claims to be the enforcer in the UCP. Hey Adam, remember the old saying, “Move your feet lose your seat?” I don’t think you do. You took off God knows how long ago and now you’re back wanting to have your old moniker back. I doubt you have the stuff to actually still lay claim to that moniker, while Ryan has what it takes. You come in and expect things to happen your way, but you’re old news. You’re just another Hazard that can’t produce the results you once did. Even then, I doubt you produced much to begin with anyways. Speaking of Anthony Hazard. Wait. I’m sorry, the “Legend”. Where’d he and his sidekick Hypeboy head off to? The only thing that Hazard’s done in the past year was prove he can make an ass of himself while Hype proved he was nothing echoed him at his side. Someone pulled the curtain on Hype because he hasn’t said a word in quite a while and Hazard’s probably stuck in some truck stop with a wheel chair wondering where Hype is.
Shelly: I think we’re done.
Mr. America: Hell no we’re not. I’m just getting started. Diamond Brett Robbins, the man on a crusade to take the OWA down the tubes, where’s he? He’s over in UEAsville getting beaten like some two bit tramp. He’s not here and his crusade was a failure like he was. Old news that was thrown out with yesterday’s crap. We have Pretty Boy Monty still here who thinks the Crew is the hottest commodity around here. News flash for you, Monty. Whether it was the Crew or the Family the only thing that was consistent about the group was the fact that it was sucked from when the whole idea was first conceived. Shogun? Yeah, another one of these half-assed has-beens that hasn’t done anything noteworthy in the past few months. Stacks Coltrain, give me a break. She’s had about as much success in the wrestling ring as she has in the dating services. Tie a belt around her neck and maybe she’ll get someone who wants to take her on, much like if you tied a piece of meat around her neck she’d get a date. Executioner, the guy’s foot is so far down his throat he chokes on it every time he talks. Monty, the only thing pretty about him is how he lays on his back for his opponents. We’ve got Billy Smith who’s taken a long vacation. Like hell I care about where he is, but maybe seeing my face on the screen will let him know he’s still part of the UCP in one form or another. Nothing but a flash in the pan. He calls himself the “Badass” and says how hardcore he is. He’s as hardcore as a Disney movie and bad as a glass of ice-tea on a hot summer day. He wants to think he’s the UCP’s answer to a verbal master. Stand in line Billy, because you’ll always be behind me.
Shelly Marks rolls her eyes.]
Mr. America: Where’s Danny Bouchard? Off asking the censors if they need more money? He didn’t do jack the first time around and he’s idling like a car in some redneck’s front yard. Fantasia? Yeah, call me when she becomes exciting. The movie sucked and her name pretty much tells you what she’s going to do. We have Godiva Rage, one of a clan of many of the Rage. Just like her family, she’s kept up the tradition of being nothing. The only thing I think of when her name is mentioned is a rage to see what I had for lunch. Wrestling her would be like walking through a park for a win’ Too easy and no effort needed. Mariko? Next?
Shelly Marks closes her eyes.]
Mr. America: We’ve got Shiva, some broad who’d rather be a bouncer at a bar than in the ring. I’d love to have a match with her because I’d be the bouncer and she’d be the bounced. She won’t even amount to a flash in the pan. We’ve got Miguel Thunder, the official UCP mid-carder who couldn’t win a match to save his life, let alone to save his career. Davey Scott? Yeah, when he gets something he can stick with let me know, but I doubt I’ll care much. He must have some sort of identity crisis because since I’ve been here he’s been a sexy boy, a renegade, and a flat out bore. Asian Invasion is the UCP’s answer to the Energizer bunny. He keeps going and going and never accomplishes a thing. He’s stuck with some fascination about the TV title and he can’t even get himself a chance at the title. Yeah, we were team mates at one point but take a look at what happened when we split. I went up, he hit rock bottom and has stayed there. Monica Brant, the mistress of the UCP. Monica, this isn’t a brothel house but about the best thing you do is lay on your back for an easy score and pin’ Last but not least, Virgo. Virgo, the man who’s as confused as a bisexual at an orgy. He joins the Crew and leaves them not a week later. He changes his name and then comes back here as the same person. The guy’s got multiple personalities with “I’m an idiot” written on both of their foreheads. Virgo, when you actually mean a damn wherever you wrestle, would you mind giving me a call? I’d like to come over and disprove the theory that you’re talented. Your response is going to be, “I beat you in that roof match.” Lately, that seems to be the only response you can give to anything I say and frankly. I’m not expecting anything new for quite a while. Just another Asian Invasion who’s obsessed with TV title, but can’t and won’t win it. The only difference, you’re an idiot and Asian belongs in special ed.
Shelly Marks yawns.]
Mr. America: While I’m at it. It seems even the announcers around here are slacking. You look tired Shelly? Does pushing pencils that hard of a job for you?
Mr. America: Yeah, I guess it is. It looks like the suits around here felt sorry for a bimbo so they gave you a job. Elaine and Ed are too busy trying to build up the guts to get a relationship going to do their jobs correctly. Myers is off in his own little world. The only guy around here worth a damn is Biff. The next thing you know, Biff’s going to call me to ask me to help him call a match because of the flunkies he has to work with.
Shelly: Mr. A.
Mr. America: If you haven’t figured it out yet, let me help ya. Don’t let the door hit your ass on the way out.
Shelly Marks leaves the locker room area.]
Shelly: I think I just became a whole lot dumber for listening to that.
She walks into another locker room where the doctors are trying to stitch up a very stubborn Davey Scott that is sitting there. Davey isn’t in the mood to be held down, one loser down in the mud. Now it on to phase two.]
Davey: Don’t you have anything better to do then come creeping in here?
Shelly: We just wants some words about the possibility of you facing Monty or perhaps, Asian Invasion.
Davey: Ok, the way I see it, Monty is someone who is in the federation taking up space. This is a new federation, so why are we carrying has-beens? If I ever meet this fellow they call “Pretty Boy”, I will give him a full-fledged makeover…trust me, he won’t be pretty anymore. Asian Invasion. Ok, listen up you little punk, cause that all you are, is a punk. I had you once, then you ran. You have never “beaten” me. I could care less about your sorry little ass. You are just another little speck in my universe. I am about to bring hell to Halloween Horror. You see Billy. I got wacked maybe once with a cane…woohoo! I beat him into delusion. He will wake up with a headache, and I hope it hurts. Cause he shall learn never mess with the devil on devil’s night!
Davey: GET OUT! You had your interview now get OUT!
He walks up and pushes her out the door…]
Shelly: Has everyone gone insane around here?!? Back to ringside.
Ed: Okay Biff. And now, on to the next match.
Biff: Wait a minute, what about the pre-match banter?
Ed: Ahhh. I’m tired, you do it.
Ed: I said you do it.
Biff: Ahhh. okay. So Biff, what do you think about this next match? Well, I think we’re going to see Pretty Boy join the rest of his Crew buddies on the unemployment line after tonight, Biff. I agree. Biff. Ah, this is stupid!
Ed: (Trying not to laugh) I don’t know, I’m having fun.
Coal Miner’s Glove Match: Asian Invasion vs. Pretty Boy Monty
Announcer: Ladies and Gentlemen, this next match is scheduled for one fall, and, as part of the Wheel of Horror, is a Coal Miner’s Glove match!
Biff: Alright, blood!
Announcer: Introducing first, weighing in at 230 lbs. ASIAN INVASION!!!
(Asian comes down to ringside, looking surprisingly focused.)
Ed: My, Invasion looks surprisingly focused tonight, Biff.
Announcer: And, his opponent, weighing in at 250 lbs., PRETTY BOY MONTY!
(Crowd lets loose as Monty comes through the curtains and walks down to ringside, smiling and looking casual. He even slaps a few hands along the way.)
Ed: The pole and Glove are already set up in the ring, and the ref is doing a final check on the two wrestlers. Biff, why don’t you tell the folks at home the rules of a Coal Miners Glove match.
Biff: Because I don’t have moron tattooed on my forehead?
Ed: You’re a bit grouchy tonight, aren’t you? Anyway, the Glove is loaded with a few ounces of lead shot, so it hurts like a bugger when you get hit with it. Whoever gets to the glove can use it as long as they have it. Wins are by pinfall or submission only. That about right, Biff?
Biff: Not bad for a complete yutz. The bell goes and we’re underway. Both men a little hesitant to lock up here, Asian thumbing his nose at Monty. Now a lock up and a shot to the gut by Invasion. Following it up with a big backbreaker! Now he’s yelling at the fans.
Invasion: “That’s the way it is, baby!”
Ed: Uh-hum. Good idea to be talking to the crowd while Monty gets back up. Roll-up from Pretty Boy. 1.
Biff: And a kick-out from Invasion. Monty on him with a jumping DDT! And another pin’ 1. 2. Kick out from Asian! Pretty good kick out from Asian there, considering he’s at a major height advantage.
Ed: Now PB Monty whipping Asian to the corner, AI comes back and gets nailed with a fist from Monty! Using the height difference to his advantage there.
Biff: Yeah, for now. Monty now with lefts and right to Asian’s head. Another DDT! Asian down on the mat, and Monty’s pointing to the Glove! Yeah, let’s see if ya can climb up there first, King Kong.
Ed: Monty going for the Coal Miner’s Glove while Asian lies on the ground. AI barely even twitching there. I think those two DDTS did a real number on him.
Biff: What did you expect him to do, sing? He just got his head driven into the mat, for crying out loud.
Ed: Monty grabs the glove from the ring pole and Asian still not moving on the mat. This one could be over pretty quick here if Asian gets nailed in this condition. Monty picking him up off the mat, big right. No! ASIAN WITH A DUCK AND A BACKSLIDE! 1. Kickout!
Biff: HA! Asian back on the job. Whipping Monty to the opposite corner. Damn! Monty nails him with that glove coming off the turnbuckle. Monty now pandering to the fans. Yech, gag me!
Ed: Monty with a pick-up, getting ready to nail Asian again with that glove, and Asian ducks again’ Clothesline from AI! And Asian putting the boots to Monty on the mat. Monty rolls away and through the ropes, and Asian taunting him from the inside!
Biff: And Monty the coward hides outside while Asian tells him what a moron he is. Monty rolling back in, and Asian with a shoulderblock! And a pin’ 1. 2. Kickout! Monty almost getting pined there, Ed!
Ed: And Asian in control as he hits a belly-to-belly suplex! And another cover! 1. 2. Kicked out again! Monty so far unable to capitalize on that glove!
Biff: He’s still probably trying to figure out how to turn it on. And Asian trying to get that glove from Monty! It’s off! And now Monty trying to get back to his big feet. BOOM! OUT GO THE LIGHTS!
Ed: Monty getting a hard right from that glove and he’s down on the mat. Asian now picking him up. Bearhug! Quite a shift in tactics here from Asian.
Biff: Smart man, using a wear-down hold on someone you’ve just popped. Doesn’t give them time to recover. Monty reaching for the ropes like a pathetic. Oh, he got them.
Ed: Ref immediately laying a count on Asian. I don’t know why, he can’t really disqualify anyone. Asian lets go of the hug, and steps back, leaving Monty on the ropes. And now back in with the bearhug! Invasion turning Monty away from the ropes so he can’t get out.
Biff: But Monty’s long gorilla arms let him flail his way out of this one. He grabs the ropes and Asian lets go again’ See what a real sportsman is like, Ed?
Ed: The sportsman nailing Monty with that glove again and a jack-knife! Monty on the mat and Asian is loving it! Pin attempt. 1. 2. Shoulder up! Monty one tough customer to be getting up after that.
Biff: Asian dragging the big doofus to the center of the ring and another bearhug! And now Pretty Ugly Monty is trapped and can’t reach the ropes! Asian wants him to give it up! Ha!
Ed: I doubt that will happen, Biff.
Biff: Yeah, but you’re an idiot. The fans now chanting “Ugly, Ugly”
Ed: I think That’s “Monty, Monty” Ed.
Biff: That’s what I said, Ugly. Okay, Monty trying to get an arm in to cut off the bearhug, fat chance of that. He looks like he’s fading, though. The ref checking as the arm falls. 1. 2. No. Looks like Monty wants to be hurt some more!
Ed: Monty shaking his head no and trying to get adrenaline flowing. He’s working one arm between himself and Asian. Asian’s got him locked up tight, but Monty’s doing it. One arm through! He hooks them. Belly-to-belly on Asian! AI down to the mat and Monty rolls off to try and get some momentum going.
Biff: The ref laying a count on both wrestlers. I suppose if he reaches 10 it’ll be a draw. Asian starting to get, so is Monty. Monty sees Asian, gets up, off the ropes. Shoulder tackle. And a lucky break from Ugly Monty gets Asian down on the mat. Monty now trying to get that glove from Asian. He’s grinding down on Asian’s shoulder while he pulls it off. He’s got it!
Ed: Monty now with blows to AI’s forehead. The ref warning him, and Monty picking up Asian. Pretty boy tossing Asian to the ropes. Big wind-up. Now, a duck down by Asian. Off the opposite ropes. HEADSCISSORS FROM ASIAN! And a cover! 1. 2. 3!
Biff: Yeah ASIAN! YEAH!
Announcer: The winner of the match. Asian Invasion!
Ed: Now Asian getting that glove from Monty and starts nailing him with hard rights! There’s no call for that!
Biff: Ah, let him alone. He’s having fun. Asian looking right into the camera as he holds up that glove.
Asian: (Mocking) I’m what every American aspires to be!
Ed: Whoa! Another strong message from Asian. Things finally getting settled down now. Asian giving back the glove and heading back to the lockers. Monty being help back, his forehead is busted open. And that match wraps up the first round of the tournament. Let’s recap: In the second round, Mr. America with a win over Rachel Ryan will take on Shogun, who upset Anthony Hazard. Davey Scott, who made quick work of Billy Smith will be taking on Asian Invasion, who just defeated Pretty Boy Monty in another upset.
Biff: My man Davey Scott is still in this one.
Ed: Let’s go down to ringside.
Miguel Thunder vs. Ricky Hype
Announcer: This match is one fall. First. Coming down the aisle, weighing in at 230 pounds. Here is Miguel Thunder!!
Miguel comes down to the ring and wait]
Announcer: And his opponent, weighing in at 250 pounds. Here is Ricky “The Show” Hype!
Ed: What a night so far, eh Biff?
Biff: Yeah, and it’ll be really great when the matches start.
Ed: Well, we’ve got Miguel Thunder vs. Ricky Hype coming up.
Biff: (Groans) Yeah, this is gonna be great. I can’t wait. Yahoo.
Ed: The fans not taking to Hype lately, due in part to his alliance of late with Anthony Hazard.
Biff: Hey, Tony Hazard is a great man, and these idiots ought to realize that.
Ed: I still can’t believe you like Hazard.
Biff: Hey, I have to. It’s in my contract.
Ed: Thunder and Hype into a collar and elbow, Hype thrown to the ropes by Thunder. Thunder missing with a clothesline and Hype with as standing double axhandle! Not much effect on Thunder, though.
Biff: Nah, his head’s too thick. Thunder grabbing Rick and tossing him to the ring ropes. Spin kick and a miss by Thunder! Ooo, good thing Thunder doesn’t have a backbone or that might have hurt.
Ed: Hype with a pick-up on Miguel and he tosses him out of the ring! And now he goes out after him!
Biff: Way to go, Hype! Smash the punk! Ricky whips Thunder into the steel guardrail, and now stomping on him! The ref’s counting but Rick’s not listening. Oh, he rolls back into the ring, and then out again. Thunder back up and now the two of them are brawling on the outside. And I thought this was going to be a boring match!
Ed: And the fans rather quiet for this match. I don’t think they know quite how to react to these tactics from Hype.
Biff: Sort of makes it hard to know who to cheer for, huh?
Ed: Yeah, it. Hey! Biff we’re supposed to be impartial.
Biff: And your point is?
Ed: Thunder getting back into the ring, and Hype following behind and Thunder catches him! A half Boston by Miguel, and Hype looks to be in pain!
Biff: For once, a good tactic from Thunder. He’s resting from that battle on the outside while keeping Hype down. And Rick looks to be in some pain here as he struggles for the ropes. He’s reaching, reaching, gets it!
Ed: The ref forces Thunder to break the hold and now Miguel’s got to think up a new strategy if he wants to capitalize here.
(The match continues for over twenty minutes, with both athletes battling back and forth. The match spills out onto ringside several times, with both men trying to viciously finish off their opponent. Several times Hype locks on a clawhold, but Thunder seems to always escape.)
Biff: Damn, if any of the other matches are this good, we might be here past midnight!
Ed: Thunder now with a power bomb on the battered Ricky Hype. Hype hits the mat, and Miguel takes a moment to pose for the ladies in the crowd.
Biff: Yeah, That’s a good idea. Why don’t you sign a few autographs while you’re at it! Sheesh! Thunder picking up Hype now and tossing him to the ropes and HYPE COMES OFF WITH A BODY BLOCK! Miguel down on the ground I bet he wishes he’d been a bit quicker earlier.
Ed: Speaking of not being quick, Ricky doing a shuffle across the ring, and not going after Miguel.
Biff: Ah, he deserves a chance to show off.
Ed: And Thunder rolls him up for a pin! 1. 2. Kick out. Ricky barely able to kick out after being in the ring for almost a half-hour.
Biff: And it hasn’t been an easy match either. Thunder to his feet, and greeted by a clothesline from Miguel. Thunder in control now as he picks up Hype and sends him to the ropes. Backdrop. No! Hype slides over Thunder’s back. Thunder turns around. CLAW FROM HYPE!
Ed: Thunder down to his knees, and the ref asking him. He’s already been in the hold a few times tonight. The ref checks the arm. once. twice. three times! The referee calling for the bell!
Biff: Yep, yep, yep. Told ya, Ed. Hype all the way.
Announcer: Ladies and Gentlemen, your winner. RICKY “The Show” HYPE!
Ed: A hard fought match from both men. Miguel having to be almost knocked out before he’d give up. Coming up next, we’ve got a one on one encounter, pitting former OWA Champion Stacks Coltrain against newcomer to UCP, Godiva Rage.
Biff: Rage has been a tremendous tag team wrestler in other federations, but now she’s trying to make her break into single’s action here in UCP.
Ed: Let’s go down to ringside.
Godiva Rage vs. Stacks Coltrain
Announcer: This match is one fall. First. Coming down the aisle, weighing in at 158 pounds. This is Godiva Rage!!
Rage walks down to ringside and enters the ring]
Announcer: And her opponent. She is a former OWA Champion. She weighs in at 185 pounds. She is a member of the Crew. This is Stacks Coltrain!
Ed: We have a bell and this match is underway. Both competitors circle and we have a lockup. Rage with a German suplex and a cover. one. two. kickout by a stunned Coltrain’ Rage seems to think she’s going to toy with Stacks here in this match but I assure you that Stacks Coltrain will give Godiva Rage all she can bargain for.
Biff: Oh. Stacks Coltrain and the Crew haven’t done anything noteworthy in over a year. Rage with a whip and a spinebuster slam. one. two. Kickout by Stacks and Godiva up and blowing kisses to the crowd. She is definitely taking Coltrain lightly in this match.
Ed: That is going to be and Coltrain up and nailing Rage with a series of blows to the head and stomach. Whip by Coltrain and a clothesline. Coltrain off the ropes and she nails Rage again with a clothesline and a third and Rage goes to the outside.
Biff: Hey. Gotta stay on your guard. Can’t let Stacks retain the momentum. Rage entering the ring. Coltrain with a kick and a dragon suplex. one. Kickout by Rage. Coltrain hits a slingshot somersault splash. one. two. Kickout by Rage.
Ed: Stacks is wanting to end this. She’s setting up for the Spinning Powerbomb. NO! Rage with a backdrop but Stacks goes all the way into a sunset flip. one. two. Kickout by Rage. Coltrain up and dropkick hits the mark and an elbowdrop. cover. one. two. Kickout by Rage.
Biff: Stacks with a whip and Rage comes off the ropes with a flying forearm. Rage with a clothesline of her own and a faceslam! Cover. one. two. Kickout by Stacks. Rage with a setup and legsweep faceslam! And Rage is going to the top.
Ed: Coltrain up and nails Rage in the midsection and slams Rage off the top turnbuckle. And Rage is begging off.
Announcer: 15 minutes have elapsed. 5 minutes remain’
Biff: She’s just stalling for time and Coltrain is not having any part of that. Kick to the midsection by Stacks and another. Stacks with a swinging neckbreaker and she’s calling for the Spinning Powerbomb. She’s got Godiva up. No. Rage uses the momentum and carries all the way over with a sunset flip but Stacks doesn’t go over. She drops down and grabs the legs. one. two. th. Rage kicks out!!
Ed: Stacks off the ropes. Rage nails her with a knee to the midsection and a Gutwrench Suplex into a. HOTSHOT! Cover by Rage. one. two. three!!! Rage gets the win here.
Announcer: Winner of the match in 18: 18, Godiva Rage!!
Ed: Godiva Rage with an incredible win here at Halloween Horror. We’ve got another match before we start with Round 2 of the Wheel of Torture tournament. Let’s go to ringside.
Fantasia vs. Loudmouth Donnie
Announcer: This match is one fall. First. Coming down the aisle, weighing in at 176 pounds. This is Fantasia!
Fantasia makes her way down to the ring as the ring announcer continues]
Announcer: And her opponent. He weighs in at 226 pounds. Here is. “Loudmouth” Donnie!
Donnie slowly makes his way to ringside. Taking his time. He finally gets into the ring.]
Ed: Both of these competitors making their debut here in UCP. There’s the bell and this match is officially underway. We have a lockup. Donnie whips Fantasia towards the turnbuckle. Reversal by Fantasia, and Donnie hits the corner. Fantasia charges in, but Donnie most and both competitors turn to face each other.

Biff: Referee down there to see if Donnie wants to submit.
Announcer: 15 minutes have elapsed. 5 minutes remaining.
Biff: Donnie trying to maneuver over towards the rope. He’s hanging in there and he makes it to the ropes. C’mon Ref. make her break that hold.
Ed: She’s breaking it. Donnie now limping noticeably. Fantasia with a lariat and a cover. one. two. Kickout by Donnie. Fantasia with a whip, but Donnie nails her with a dropkick off the ropes. Donnie hits a nice belly to back suplex and a double underhook backbreaker.

Ed: There’s the bell.
Announcer: The time limit on this match has expired. This match is therefore ruled a draw!
Ed: I’m sure a rematch is in order for these two. An incredible match.
Ed: It’s time to start Round 2 of the Wheel of Torture Tournament. Let’s go up to Elaine and Myers.
Elaine: Thanks Ed. I think I’ve lost track of whose turn it is to spin, so why don’t you do the honors, Myers?
Myers: Well, if you insist.
Myers gives the wheel a strong spin’ it spins around and around until finally it stops on. ]
Elaine: It’s Mr. America vs. Shogun in a Dog Collar Match! Let’s go down to ringside!
Dog Collar Match: Mr. America vs. Shogun
Announcer: This match begins the semifinals in the Wheel of Torture tournament. It’s going to be one fall and it is a Dog Collar Match. Both wrestlers will be attached to the neck by a dog collar, wrestler needs to gain a pinfall in order to win. And here are the participants. With a win in the first round over Rachel Ryan, he weighs in at 250 pounds. Here is “America’s Perfection”. Mr. America!!!
Mr. America makes his way to ringside and allows the referee to collar his neck, as the ring introductions continue.]
Announcer: And his opponent. With a win over Anthony Hazard in the first rounds, weighing in at 230 pounds. Here is a member of the Crew. Shogun!!
Shogun comes to ringside and enters the ring. The referee attaches the dog collar to his neck as well, then calls for the bell]
Ed: And we’re off. We’ve a lock up and Mr. America with a whip, Shogun off the ropes is nailed with a clothesline. America wraps that chain around his fist and goes for a fistdrop, but Shogun moves and nails America with a couple of kicks, then a huge spin kick.
Biff: Shogun getting in some of those martial arts moves. Oh. Here’s a good martial arts move. Shogun wrapping that chain around the neck of America and trying to choke him out. America reaching the ropes. The referee is making Shogun release the choke.
Ed: America getting to his feet, but Shogun nails him with a savate kick and down he goes again’ Shogun wraps his fist in that chain and begins to nail Mr. America in the forehead and America is now busted open. Shogun with a dragon suplex and a cover. one. two. Kickout by America.
Biff: Shogun going to the top. This could be a mistake and America with a tug of that chain, bring Shogun back down to the mat. America gets to his feet and wraps the chain around the neck of Shogun and throws him over the top rope. He’s hanging Shogun!
Ed: The referee is in there giving a count and America lets loose the hold and Shogun falls to the floor. America out after him. He wraps that chain around his hands and comes off the apron with a double ax handle to the back of the neck of Shogun.
Biff: Man. this tournament is crazy! Bats and sticks and chains. It’s a wonder someone’s not seriously injured. America rolling Shogun back into the ring. He sets him up and nails him with the Leaping Piledriver!! Cover. one. two. three! This one is over!
Announcer: Winner of the match in 16: 25, advancing in the tournament. Mr. America!
Ed: Incredibly hard fought match up and Mr. America is our first finalist. Let’s go up to Elaine and Myers for another spin of the wheel.
Myers: Thanks Ed. Elaine, if you’ll be so kind as to take a crack at this wheel.
Elaine: You bet.
Elaine spins the wheel and is spins and spins until it lands on. ]
Myers: Davey Scott will take on Asian Invasion in a Ladder Match! Let’s go to Shelly who’s with Davey Scott.
Davey comes around the corner laughing, then sees Shelly Marks, and that laugh turned to a groan.]
Davey: What does one man have to get rid of you guys?
Shelly: All we want is some comments about Asian Invasion, as you will be facing him in a few moments.
Davey: The little weasel actually won a match?? Whoa, that’s a first, but it will soon be the last as I will come for you Asian Invasion. Remember the last time we met? Remember that beating I gave you? Imagine that plus a pot of gold to bash in your hollow head of yours! In all perspective, the way it is, that I am going out there, and you better run while you can. Cause I won’t let you run from the ring. The ring is a battle field, and an escape is a retreat! A surrender! I shall not surrender to you PUNK! You will get EVERYTHING your narrow ass deserves. A good multiple boots. You cheated me out of the TV Title…but unlike you, fried brain, I am not OBSESSED with the TV Title. Compare to this tournament and what the outcome of the winner, that is bigger than the TV Title. Oh, I guess your hollow head can’t quite catch the grasp of that! You still think small. Which is why your “Evil Empire” FAILED! You never thought to think BIG!

And if you think that I still lack the skill, in any fed, to mess with you, why don’t you come back to the SWF for a special match? Or better yet, if President Stevie will allow it, why don’t I bring Trinity to the UCP for a special guest appearance? Then you can discuss our talent like professionals. We ran your beloved Underground out of the SWF. There is only one man left, and he is not the champion any longer. Pity, isn’t it?”

Mr. America: Two down and one to go. Davey, it looks like you have your wish. I’ll get back to you in a minute though. Shiva, I’m supposed to be impressed because some “newcomer” beat Mariko. Biff could beat Mariko on his worst day and the man’s a retired wrestler. Do something more to impress me. If you want to make me do a double take, then get Gus back into the UCP for one more match and bounce him around the ring like a ragdoll. I don’t see that happening though. Virgo, it’s about time you spoke up. So, more with the SWF stuff. Yeah, I left. Take a look at the current state of the federation and you’ll see why I left. You say that Trinity has dominated the fed since they were born. Believe what you want to believe Virgo, but everyone knows the truth. They couldn’t get the job done against Bacon or Phoenix. It took Moon Dog to beat Bacon and who was it that trained Moon Dog? That’d be me! Take a look around you. You have no competition because the fed has been infested with nothing but lame up the wall and out the rear. The Underground left not because of Trinity. You couldn’t run a cat out of a dog house Virgo. We left because the SWF was lacking in what we seek, and that’s talent. That’s why I left to come and concentrate here. If you want another roof match, I’m game for it. Wow, a reverse choke slam to put me out, but you saw what happened. Luck played a huge part on your side tonight, but we’ll see exactly who’s good and who’s great. You’ve got the TV title. I’m getting my shot at the UCP title tonight. There’s a vast difference between your skills and mine. You’re a mediocre at best, mine are great at their worst. If you want to compare stables Virgo. I’ll banter off the number of titles that the Underground has had in comparison to Trinity. I don’t think you want me to do that because that’d be one slap that stings too much.
Mr. America wipes off his forehead.]
Mr. America: Shogun, looks like you had the last chance romance, but failed in it. That leaves just you Scott. Just you. You talk about the American Dream and how it’s a fraud. No Davey, it’s no fraud. You’re not bright enough to understand how to achieve it. You can’t comprehend enough how to be able to reach the pinnacle of your career and you’re just going to be another Virgo at best. Someone who’s lackluster career will be highlighted by second tier titles that seem to dominate your psyche. Me? Yeah, I’m what every American aspires to be and I am America’s Perfection because look at me. I’m one hell of an arrogant SOB whose ego knows no bounds. Along with that arrogance comes the confidence in myself that you’re walking out of this match tonight not as the winner, but as the one who couldn’t handle the perfection that he stepped into the ring with. Davey, I’m one of the most sought after wrestlers in the league because I can generate hate from people with no equal. You hate me Davey and that’s evident and I’m happy you do too. My comments about your ever changing names. That’s been the highlight of your career thus far. You’ve gone from the Sexy Boy to the Renegade and now you’re claiming to be the devil. What is it Davey? Are you going to think your Jesus next and walk across water? Davey, you can’t work miracles and that’s what it’s going to take you to beat me!
Mr. America walks down the aisle and slides into the ring.
Announcer: And his opponent, with wins over Billy Smith and Asian Invasion. He weighs in at 250 pounds. Here is Davey Scott!
Ed: A table is being placed at ringside. It’s still folded up, so the two competitors have their work cut out for them. You might call this the battle of the piledrivers as Davey’s finisher is the Spinning Piledriver and Mr. America’s is the Leaping Piledriver.
Biff: I really doubt those moves will matter much in this match, as the winner is the one who puts his opponent through the table.
Ed: There’s the bell and we’re underway. Davey still favoring that leg that was injured previously at the hands of Asian Invasion and Davey isn’t waiting around. He attacks Mr. America and nails him with a series of punches to the head.
Biff: Looks like he’s trying to reopen those stitches. Bodyslam by Scott and a clothesline. Scott’s going to the second turnbuckle and he misses an elbowdrop! America is up and he nails Scott with a few kicks. America off the ropes with a flying elbowdrop, but Scott rolls away. Scott it up and nails America with a superkick to the jaw.
Ed: Scott slides out of the ring. He slides the table into the ring. It’s still flat on the mat. America slowly getting to his feet and Scott off the ropes and bulldogs America onto the table and America is now busted open. Those stitches only doing a temporary job.
Biff: Scott rolling America off the table and he begins to set it up. America with a clip to the leg of Scott. America wiping the blood from his eyes and he drops a knee to the head of Scott and he pushes the forehead of Scott into the leg of that table and blood is now running freely from Scott’s forehead.
Ed: America stops his attack on Scott and goes to work on trying to get this table up. He appears to be having trouble with the leg of that table. No. he’s got it open finally. He sets up the table in the center of the ring. He picks up Scott and slam him onto the table, but it doesn’t break.
Biff: What’s he going to do? He lies Scott on that table and he’s going to the top. America with a splash off that top but NO! Davey Scott pulls a foot up and it connects with America chin and America slumps to the ground.
Ed: Scott rolls off that table and pulls up America, no! America with a hotshot on the edge of that table and Scott is holding his throat. America is climbing up onto the table and pulls Scott up after him. He’s setting up for a piledriver. America is going to piledrive Scott through the table.
Biff: NO! Scott with a backdrop and that table just flips over under the weight of Scott on the edge! Scott gets to his feet and sets up the table. He sets America on the top turnbuckle and he’s going to superplex America through the table.
Ed: Scott can’t get America up and over. America is holding onto the corner. Wait. America lifts up Scott and uses a front layout superplex. Through the table!!!
Biff: This match is over!!!
Announcer: Winner of the match and the winner of the 1997 Wheel of Torture tournament is Mr. America!!!!!
Ed: Shelly Marks is heading to the ring to have a word with the winner.
Biff: That was an incredible match, Ed. let me tell you. Respect for both of these competitors has gone up a great deal.
Ed: With that match done, we have a challenger for the UCP Champion at “Deck The Halls” in December. There’s Shelly. Let’s go down to ringside.
Mr. America picks up Davey Scott and tosses him out of the ring. Shelly Marks enters the ring with a mic as Mr. America raises his arms in victory. He points to himself and yells, “I’m what every American aspires to be!” He looks over at Shelly and wipes some of the blood off of his forehead. He motions for Shelly to hold on for a second as he makes his way to the ropes. He gets a towel and wipes the blood off more.]
Shelly: You’ve done it. You’ve won the Wheel of Torture Tournament. You went through Rachel Ryan, Shogun, and Davey Scott in one horrific night.
Mr. America: What a night it’s been! They threw me to the wolves in my first match and it just got easier from there! Davey, I’ll give you props. I may be arrogant but don’t think for a second I didn’t think you’d make it. You’re a good wrestler, but you’re still not me.
Shelly: You have won the chance at wrestling either Traci Lane or Monica Brant for the UPC Title. What are your thoughts on that?
Mr. America: My thoughts? Shelly, you know that answer. I’m looking towards winning that title and showing why it is exactly that I’m America’s Perfection. I’m not worried about the champion right now. If it’s Traci, then I’ll have my work cut out for me. There’s a level of respect between us but she knows that I’m hungry for what she has around her waist. I know we haven’t met in the ring before and she’s anxious to prove how much of a dominant wrestler she is in the UCP. One way or another, it’s going to be one hell of a match, but I don’t want to face Lane for the UCP title.
Shelly: You don’t?
Mr. America: No, because I know all I have to do is ask Traci for a match and shell be more than willing to step into the ring. I want Monica. Yeah, I have a win over the “mistress” of the UCP, but Executioner and Salyards took the pride out of that win’ Yeah, they had every right to and I’m not a bit upset because it’s a win’ Monica, you had an easy way out of your match. I chuckled to myself after Salyards whacked you too because it was that much easier to beat you. I remember when you came in as Jungle Mask. I can see the jealousy burning at you because you look at the Femmes and see the success they are even without you. You take a look at me and you turn green with envy because even if you are the fashion expert here, you’re still the k-mart blue light special while I’m an Armani tailored wrestler. Once it’s all said and done though after tonight, we’ll see who I face. I want Traci to win out of a natural biased, but I’m hungry to slap you around one more time. As for you Davey, take a look and see what you couldn’t achieve. It’s what I’m holding right now. Virgo, this is how it’s done. You forget about past titles and shoot after what you haven’t held. Best of all, I have the biggest surprise yet to come!
Mr. America exits the ring and walks back up the aisle.]
Shelly: Strong words from Mr. America and we’ll see who he faces for the UCP title at the conclusion of tonight. Back to you, Ed.
Ed: As usual, strong comments from Mr. America. Well. We’re down to our final match. It’ll be Traci Lane going up against “Mistress” Monica Brant. Let’s hear comments from both.
(Monica Brant is in her locker room, smiling. She’s wearing a different outfit, a rather simple one-piece wrestling outfit that bares a suspicious resemblance to Traci Lane’s outfit.)
Monica: I know, I know. Hundreds of analysts and odds makers were shocked tonight when I pinned Sanchez for a three count. I’m sure his family are all at home, bawling their eyes out. Take the hint, Adam Ant, and just go back to wherever you’ve been hiding these past few years. Now, Traci, it’s you and me. I know you’re in your own locker room, getting ready. Because you know who you’re facing. You’ve seen me. You’ve fought beside me. You know what I’m capable of. You know. And if that knowing doesn’t make your stomach churn with nervousness, then you’re not half as smart as I thought you were. Enjoy your nap tonight, Lane, and I’ll enjoy my new title.
(Scene changes to Traci Lane, who stands before a wide, white banner bearing a red hourglass, dressed in wrestling attire, hands on her hips. Glaring coldly at the camera, she says)
Traci: So the mystery’s over. I’m facing the Femme-wrecker herself, Monica Brant, in the main event. That’s fine. In fact, that’s perfect. Monica, this little vendetta of yours has gone on for *far* too long. I still don’t quite understand what set you off, and at this point, I don’t guess that matters. The way I see it, this match means that either you get your way, and you cost the Femmes — and me — the world championship, or I put you away and hopefully knock some sense back into you.
(The camera slowly floats closer as she speaks.)
Traci: I want more than a match with you, Monica. I want closure. I want this sorry little episode in our lives over with, and you, our prodigal sister, back where she belongs. I think that would be a fine way to punctuate an event so important as this is. We’re finally in the ring together. Let’s make it *mean* something.
(The screen now frames her face.)
Traci: Our match is close at hand, Monica. Get ready. You know I’ll be.
(Her gaze smolders as the view changes back to the arena)
Ed: The last time these two met, Monica was wearing a mask and calling herself Jungle Mask. Now, she’s no longer a mystery. This rematch has been a long time coming and she’s had about 3 hours to rest. Let’s go down to ringside for this historic clash.
UCP Championship: Traci Lane vs. Monica Brant
Announcer: This match is one fall. It is for the UCP Cruiserweight Championship of the World. First. Coming down the aisle, weighing in at 157 pounds. Here is the challenger. “Mistress” Monica Brant!
Monica Brant comes down, walking directly to the ring. She pauses and looks out to the crowd before she walks up the steps and into the ring.]
Announcer: And her opponent. *huge pop*. She is the current UCP Cruiserweight Champion of the World. She weighs in at 194 pounds. She is a member of the Femme Fatale. This is “The Black Widow” Traci Lane!!!
Ed: This crowd is deafening and solidly behind Traci Lane. She points to Monica Brant in the ring and charges in. Brant nails her as Lane slides into the ring and delivers a number of kicks to the head. And the ref is calling for the bell.
Biff: Brant not taking any chances. She wants that championship. Brant with a swinging neckbreaker. A few stomps and then pulls Lane up. Brant off the ropes, nails the champion with a clothesline. Lane in trouble early on. Brant off the ropes, but Lane slams her with a spinebuster.

Biff: Traci wanting Monica to get back into the ring. Monica wanting a bit of space so she can get back into the ring. Traci steps back and Monica comes back into the ring. Traci in quickly with a chop and a bodyslam. Traci Lane with a side suplex and a cover. one. Kickout by Brant.
Ed: Lane up. Backbreaker on Brant and Brant begs off but Lane has no mercy for the former Femme. Lane moves in, but is greeting with a rake of the eyes and Brant hits her with a clothesline. Brant with a whip into the turnbuckle.
Biff: And Brant nails her with a spinning leg lariat coming out of the corner. Brant with a nice vertical suplex and Brant looking to finish off Lane as she nails her with a Tombstone. cover. one. two. Kickout by Lane.

Biff: NO! Lane with a jawbreaker. Lane to her knees and Brant moves in’ Lane with a punch to the midsection and another and another jawbreaker. Monica’s gonna need to see her dentist after this one.
Ed: Lane with a whip. She catches Brant with a powerslam and she’s gonna try and end it here. Traci setting up for the Gorilla Press Piledriver, but Brant rolls her up. one. two. Reversal by Lane. one. two. three!!! She retains the title!!
Announcer: Winner of the match in 20: 01 and STILL UCP Cruiserweight Champion of the World. Traci Lane!!!
