HcW Monday Night Hell – 6-11-2018

29 min read

The TV Championship Tournament hits the semi-finals; Anaquin Adams and Gabriel Ohio continue their mind games a week before their Prison Break Match at Bitter Enemies and Mike Lance challenges Tyke Index in the main event.

Al Locker: Welcome to another edition of Monday Night Hell. I’m Al Locker and with me is Alan Carcia. We are live in Baton Rouge and we have two great hours of action in store for you this evening. I am told we will finally have the no disqualification, there must be a winner match between Scythe Bloodline and Trent Harper with the winner to get a crack at the Xtreme Championship at Bitter Enemies.

Alan Carcia: That’s not all. We have two semi-final tournament matches for the vacant Television Championship. Slamsley McBody takes on Gabriel Ohio and the other has Joanne Canelli taking on Hammerstein.

Al Locker: And those aren’t even the headliners here tonight as our main event sees Lance Mikes back in the ring going one on one with HcW World Champion Tyke Index.

Alan Carcia: I still can’t believe this match is happening right here on this program when this could main event any PPV and rake in the big dollars.

Al Locker: And opening out show today, Pure Champion Anaquin Adams will be taking on a mystery opponent chosen by Gabriel Ohio just one week before their Prison Break match at Bitter Enemies. I’m not sure who…

Non-Title
Anaquin Adams vs. Mystery Opponent

The lights go out as the slowed entrance of “Beautiful” begins to play by 10 Years. Graphic, bloody images begin to flicker across the screen, along with images of Anaquin’s Evil Clown face.

As the song continues, the lights come on as “MONSTER” Anaquin Adams name hits the screen and a red light begins to fill the arena. A hooded figure stands at the top of the ramp, obviously female as she makes her way slowly down the aisle as the music continues to play. Her hoodie is a glittery golden and lights flicker across the surface as she keeps her face hidden as she reaches the steps and climbs up to the ring apron and she walks to the center and looks out at the crowd before she finally pulls the hood back and reveals her evil clown face. Her hair is cut short now and a lighter brown and her blue eyes twinkling with amusement as she continues to walk around the apron, hitting all four sides and posing before she finally slips inside as the final strains of “Beautiful” finally fade out and she steps to her corner. She stands there in a one-piece, white sport tights with golden trim and her boots are also white, with US on one boot and AA on the other with the Pure Championship around her waist.

She takes the belt from around her waist and places it over her shoulder as she takes the microphone from the ring announcer.

Adams: Gabriel Ohio. I am waiting for your mystery opponent. I am waiting to see who you could have put in my path on my way to facing you at Bitter Enemies in a Prison Break match. Bring out your chosen one.

She hands the microphone back to the ring announcer as they wait for her opponent.

Richard Bassett: Anaquin Adams’ mystery opponent…

“Ready For This” by All Good Things begins to play across the arena.

Al Locker: Are you kidding me?

Alan Carcia: We haven’t seen him since Insanity!

Anaquin’s eyes widen a little as she recognizes the music, but that is followed by a look of skepticism until Taurus finally steps onto the stage.

Al Locker: These two are tag team partners and Gabriel Ohio is playing the ultimate mind games on Anaquin Adams.

Taurus makes his way down the aisle as in the ring Anaquin Adams hands off her Pure Championship to the referee and she takes a running start and leaps into the air and springboards off the top rope and dives onto Taurus on the outside.

Alan Carcia: Tag partners or not, Anaquin Adams is not taking Taurus lightly. They’ve wrestled before to a non-finish, but I expect that neither one is going to hold back here going into Bitter Enemies. We know that Taurus will be taking on Tyke Index for the World Championship in a Last Man Standing match and Anaquin Adams defends her Pure Championship against Gabriel Ohio in a Prison Break match.

Adams is up on the outside and she pulls up Taurus and tries to roll him into the ring, but he reverses it and sends her back first into the ring apron. He then pushes her into the ring and slides in after her. The referee finally calls for the bell.

Al Locker: Taurus looks well rested since we last saw him at Insanity, but there are those skeptics that say not competing could result in him not being prepared for Index at Bitter Enemies.

Taurus reaches for Anaquin, but she drives a head to the midsection, doubling the former champion over. She drives her head upwards into his jaw, sending him down to the mat. She pushes up to her feet, holding the top of her head before turning and running off the ropes and driving a knee into the side of Taurus’ head.

Alan Carcia: Anaquin with a knee strike there and Taurus is down. She runs to the ropes again, but this time Taurus catches her with a powerslam and a cover, but Anaquin kicks out before the referee can even count to one.

Taurus pulls her up and whips her into the ropes and as she comes back, he tries to flip her over, but she lands on her feet and as Taurus turns around, she drops kicks him and then she runs into the ropes and comes back with a dropkick to the face and Taurus goes out of the ring.

Al Locker: We saw this a couple of weeks ago with Tyke Index.

Anaquin climbs to the top turnbuckle on the other side of the ring as Taurus and she runs the rope and when she gets to the other turnbuckle, she leaps off into the air and onto Taurus with a body block and they both go down.

Alan Carcia: The fans are going nuts over that move. Anaquin is up and she pulls Taurus up to his feet and she rolls him back into the ring and she climbs the turnbuckle. I think she’s going to drop the hammer here! Hold on, what’s this?

Gabriel Ohio steps over the guardrailing through the crowd and walks up the ringsteps behind Adams and pushes Anaquin off the turnbuckle, and she overshoots Taurus who rolls out of the way and she lands right on her knee and flips over onto her back and grabs for her knee. Ohio slips back through the crowd.

Al Locker: Gabriel Ohio is trying to take out Adams before their Prison Break match at Bitter Enemies and she may have injured that knee. Taurus getting to his feet. Anaquin is getting up as well, though she’s hopping on one leg and Taurus just nails her with a Bullseye kick! Cover!

Richard Bassett: Winner of the match, Taurus!

The referee raises Taurus’ hand who then motions around his waist that he’s coming for the belt.  He turns to help Anaquin up to her feet as she still favors that injured knee.  They shake hands and Taurus leaves the ring as Anaquin does not look happy in the ring.

Al Locker: I realize that Gabriel Ohio is seven foot tall, but I am not certain that Anaquin Adams is someone he wants to be pissing off right now.

Alan Carcia: I don’t think Gabriel Ohio is scared of anyone.

Al Locker: We will be back after this break.

Television Championship Tournament Semi-Final Match
Joanne Canelli vs. Hammerstein

Russell Bassett: This match is one fall and is a semi-final match in the Television Championship Tournament. Introducing first:

The house lights go down, as a spotlight goes over the crowd. As the spotlight comes to a stop at the back of the entrance way, as “Run This Town” by Rihanna Jay z Kanye West begins to play. A picture of the Italian Flag appears on the screen with the letters F.B.I over the flag, with the words “FULL BLOODED ITALIAN” is written underneath. It soon changes to scenes of mob hits, newspaper clippings from just recent to the late 1900’s, but soon changes once again, to shots of the Mafioso, sitting in a large office, and in limos, and in arena’s from times since past. The spotlight focuses on four figures figures standing at the back of the ramp. This is Joanne and her bodyguards. They make their way down the ramp with Joanne in the middle with Reno and Rude on either side, and Scarpaci following behind, , talking among themselves ignoring the crowd around them. When they reach the ring, Reno holds open the ropes for her, as she slips inside, only to follow behind and stand in the middle of the ring, around her. She removes her jacket, and hands it to one of the guys, before they head out of the ring.

Russell Bassett: This is “The Jersey Devil Diva” Joanne Canelli! And her opponent:

The opening riffs of Everclear’s American Monster blare from the arena’s PA system and the crowd reacts with a roar as Hammerstein slowly steps through the curtain, followed by his manager, Reese Kennedy. He stops at the top of the stage, drinking in the boos of the crowd, a huge sarcastic grin on his face. He waves his hands towards himself, inviting the crowd to get louder. Kennedy pats him on the back, and Hammerstein finally makes his way to the ring, stopping only to smirk and shake his head at the fans. He walks up the ring steps and wipes his boots on the apron. Kennedy holds the ropes open, and The American Monster climbs in the ring. As soon as he’s in the ring he runs as hard as he can into the turnbuckles, then turns and runs across the ring, slamming into the opposite corner. Hammerstein run to the corner to his left, climbs to the middle rope, and raises his arms in the air. He goes to the opposite corner, repeating the gesture and taking in the jeers of the crowd.

Richard Bassett: Accompanied to the ring by his manager, Reese Kennedy. This is Hammerstein!

Al Locker: Winner of this match gets a spot in the finals for the Television Championship on Bitter Enemies.

DING DING DING

They circle each other and Canelli stops and offers a handshake. Hammerstein glances for a moment then extends his hand as well, though neither hand is close enough to actually shake. They remain in that position for a moment then they both pull their hand back and kick each other in the midsection.

Al Locker: Looks like they both had the same idea in mind right there. A little bit of treachery here.

Hammerstein off the ropes, but Canelli trips him with a drop toe hold, then rolls over and grabs onto a headlock, but Hammerstein gets to his feet and pushes her off and into the ropes. Canelli with a leap frog over him and as he spins around she grabs another headlock.

Alan Carcia: Kennedy slapping the apron, telling him not to get frustrated and that’s exactly what Canelli is trying to do here.

Hammerstein tries to push her off again, but this time she grabs onto a handful of his hair to stop herself from moving away from Hammerstein. Kennedy is on the outside screaming at the referee about the hairpull.

Al Locker: Referee was out of position for that one. He can’t call what he can’t see here.

Hammerstein just pushes her into the corner and the referee forces the break and Canelli puts her hands up as Hammerstein leans into her in the corner. He backs up slowly and then tries to slap her but she ducks, spins around him and schoolboys him for a pin.

One.

Kickout by Hammerstein.

Alan Carcia: Hammerstein is up quick and he just bum rushes Canelli and shoulderblocks her out of the ring.

Alan Carcia: He’s a big boy.

Hammerstein quickly goes out after her and whips her into the guardrailing and then nails her with a couple of chops before rolling her back into the ring. He gets onto the apron and enters the ring and then lifts himself up onto the second turnbuckle and as Canelli gets to her feet, he leaps off but she nails him in the gut.

Al Locker: Kennedy is on the ring apron and Canelli is going into her tights.

Alan Carcia: Those look like brass knuckles to me!

Canelli gives her knucks a kiss as she waits for Hammerstein to get to his feet while the referee is distracted with Kennedy and she takes a wild swing, but Hammerstein ducks and scoops her up.

Al Locker: Hammersteiner! Cover!

DING DING

Richard Bassett: Winner of the match and advancing to the finals in the TV Championship Tournament at Bitter Enemies: Hammerstein!

Al Locker: Hammerstein advancing here, but I’m sure we’ll here more from Joanne Canelli in weeks to come, but we know one of the finalists who’ll vie for the vacant Television Championship.

Alan Carcia: He’ll go on to face the winner of the Slamsley McBody vs. Gabriel Ohio match which is coming up next.

Backstage

Biff is standing by the back entrance as Blake Archer walks through.

Biff Franklin: Well, if it isn’t Mr. Elusive. Care to chat?

The large man turns and looks at Mr. Franklin as he approaches staring up at Blake who has a good eight inches on him. He looks down at the man who is showing no sign of intimidation.

Blake Archer: And if I say no?

Biff Franklin: Well, then I will have to have security detain you and have you thrown in a jail cell for trespassing. And then, of course, I’d have to get a protective order barring you from all future HcW events and to be honest, I think that just far too much work for me to have to do just to deal with the likes of you. So, listening?

Blake Archer: What do you want?

Biff Franklin: I knew you’d see it my way. Look, I just need you to sign this form and I’ll make sure you get your shot at Raven Trueblood at Bitter Enemies.

Biff hands over the clipboard and a pen.

Biff Franklin: You can ignore the part where you can’t hold us liable when Raven beats your ass and sends you scurrying away like a ferret. And you can forget the part where we’re not paying you a dime, considering you don’t really work for us. You want to fight Raven, or do you want me to call security? Or you can just leave with your tail between your legs and take your feud to Twitter, with hashtags and all. The choice is yours, really.

Blake looks at it and starts laughing.

Blake Archer: “Just because I look like I am all looks doesn’t mean I am an idiot. Clearly you want to keep a world champion off your television program, you don’t want people to know I hold a Golden Ticket outside the walls of HcW. That little shit blindsided me, maybe you don’t know that since you wasn’t employed back then for the company, but he has it coming.

Blake glares at Biff and looks down at the paper giving a sigh before signing on the dotted line. He hands the clipboard back to Biff.

Biff Franklin: That wasn’t so bad. Glad we had this chat. Oh, and security is going to go ahead and walk you out of the arena. Tonight, we’re going to be Blake-free.

Two security guards show up and Blake holds up his hands.

Blake Archer: Fine. I’m leaving. I’ll be back here next week to beat Raven’s ass.

Biff just nods his head as Blake exits from the door he entered from.

Television Championship Tournament Semi-Final Match
Gabriel Ohio vs. Slamsley McBody

Richard Bassett: This match is one fall and is the last semi-final match in our TV Championship Tournament. Introducing first:

“Back in the Saddle” by Aerosmith begins to play.

Richard Bassett: This is “The Original Vanilla Shilla” Slamsley McBody!

Cameras pan up revealing “Re: Generate” on a video wall with a picture-in-picture video of one random audience seat. Sporting a red New Era baseball cap with his face being shielded by the bill, a lime-green Armani sports jacket, banana-yellow slacks custom-tailored by L.L. Bean, and a pair of Muckmaster Boots…”Son of Slam” Slamsley McBody appears on screen. “The Workrate Warrior”/”The Walking Weapon”/”Son of Slam” Slamsley McBody raises his head as “Back in the Saddle” by Aerosmith resonates through the arena. McBody takes his seat, raises his hands in a slamming motion, and high-fives fans en route to the ring. He, Slamsley, proceeds to hop over the barricade when able before rolling into the ring.

Richard Bassett: And his opponent:

“For Whom The Bell Tolls” by Sabaton begins to play.

Richard Bassett: Here is Gabriel Ohio!

The Lights flicker until the sounds of electricity fill the arena as it is plunged into darkness. A Moon appears on the titan-tron and a white glow appears on the stage. Standing in the glow is the 7-foot-tall Gabriel Ohio, leather jack blowing in the wind, looking down at the floor. He looks up and walks slowly to the ring. He reaches the ring and steps up onto the apron and then over the top rope, his presence felt.

DING DING DING

Al Locker: Gabriel has about half a foot on McBody here as the bell rings and this match is underway.

McBody walks up and extends a hand to Ohio who looks at it for a moment and then just sneers as he reaches out and grabs McBody by the throat and pushes him backwards rather quickly and as McBody hits the ropes, he flips over.

Alan Carcia: Gabriel Ohio celebrating as he raises his hands in the air and turns his back on McBody who has landed on the apron. Ohio turns back and McBody slingshots himself into the ring and nails a tornado DDT on the big guy and he’s down! Cover!

Kickout by Ohio. McBody is back up, running the ropes. He leaps into the air with a cross body, but Ohio catches him and slams him down onto the mat.

Al Locker: That look like it had to hurt.

McBody clutches his back as he rolls over and Ohio just stomps on McBody’s lower back. He grabs McBody by the hair and pulls him to his feet and then grabs his throat again and lifts him up and drops him onto his knee for a backbreaker!

Alan Carcia: I’m not sure that McBody was ready for Gabriel Ohio.

Th—Kickout by McBody.

Al Locker: Gabriel Ohio thought that it was over right there.

Gabriel stops for a moment, then looks at the ceiling for a second before wiping at something on his arm.

Alan Carcia: What’s going on here?

Al Locker: Not for sure, but Gabriel’s attention seems to be distracted. He pulls up McBody and whips him into the ropes and big boot to the face. Cover again by Ohio.

Gabriel Ohio just stands up and reaches behind his neck.

Al Locker: There’s something red that he’s wiped off his neck there. What is going on here?

Suddenly it begins to sprinkle red drops onto Ohio more noticeable now as he doesn’t see that behind him is McBody trying to get to his hands and knee and Ohio steps back, trips over McBody who somehow manages to roll him up.

DING DING DING

Richard Bassett: Winner of the match, advancing to face Hammerstein for the vacant Television Championship, Slamsley McBody!

Al Locker: And Ohio is pissed. He grabs McBody and hoists him up for a Día de Muertos but McBody slips free and slides out of the ring!

Alan Carcia: Probably the smartest move of McBody’s career right there.

Gabriel Ohio leaves the ring as he continues to look up at the ceiling in the arena and he keeps getting dripped on, giant red droplets following him as he goes to the top of the ramp where suddenly a wave of red liquid falls on him, covering him in the substance.

Al Locker: That has to be Anaquin Adam’s doing.

Alan Carcia: She’s going on Carrie on Gabriel Ohio. Why would you want to piss off a giant a week before you have to step inside a prison cell?

Gabriel stands there, breathing heavy and looking very pissed off as the fans are eating this up. Someone starts up a “Bloody Gabby” chant and he tells them to shut up and disappears behind the stage, storming off.

Al Locker: I have no idea what to say here about this.

Alan Carcia: If I were Anaquin Adams, I wouldn’t show up at Bitter Enemies and I sure as hell wouldn’t step into a caged cell with Gabriel Ohio.

Al Locker: Before we see the match to determine the contender for the Xtreme Championship at Bitter Enemies, let’s here from the champion.

TOMMY McMASTER (Pre-recorded)

Sitting on top of the roof of an abandoned building, we see the Xtreme champion Tommy McMaster, he has the title over his left shoulder as he looks out at the valley across the way in the horizon. He lifts the title to his lips and kisses the belt, then looks further out across the valley and then back to face us.

“As things change they always stay the same. Raven showed his true colors alright but then what did I say to all of you about his questionable mental illness? I told you from the beginning but oh well. At least I won’t need to face him again as that loser can never and will never be able to defeat me. It’s so boring facing the same old foes and vanquishing them like the trash they are. “

Sitting astride the roof The Wildfire played with his zippo lighter.

“We are fast approaching Bitter Enemies pay per view and yet I still do not have a worthy opponent. I mean that Joanne Canelli gets a chance to be fighting for the television championship after I put her away? Unbelievable.  Yeah sure she is super tough, she took me almost to the limit but she is not at my level and I proved that last week. Another chancer believing they can take on the best Xtreme champion in this history of this place and being put back in the solitary station of life.”

Another pause. This time he got up, outstretched his arms, the sun gleaming off his Xtreme title belt.

“Scythe Bloodline and Trent Harper. As I said last week why would you even fight for the chance to lay down and kiss the sky? You are gluttons for punishment. I own both of you. Hell, I am above this division to a point where I should be fighting for the World Championship and not facing these no-hopers whose best trick is to fool management into believing they have talent. Look its Scythe a man I destroyed for this title. Then it’s Trent who thinks maybe just maybe he will be able to look out at his kingdom of peasants and not be embarrassed by his constant losses. You are both parasites and whoever wins I got the poison that will end you for good. See you at Bitter Enemies boys and bring your own gurney as you will not leave by your own power. Still…THE XTREME CHAMPION…. THE WILDFIRE TOMMY MCMASTER!

He jumps off the roof as we fade.

Xtreme Championship Contender’s Match/No DQ
Scythe Bloodline vs. Trent Harper

99 ways to die by Megadeth hits the PA system. As the music starts Scythe shoots out onto the stage thumping in place with strobe lights accompanying him.

Al Locker: Starting things off with one of the more popular men in the Xtreme division. He sure looks ready for this fight as do the fans.

He pauses and raises his right arm than is about to dash off, but TRENT HARPER comes running out the back hitting Scythe in the back of the head with an elbow knocking him rollin down the entrance ramp. Fans boo Trent not too impressed with his sneaky attack right out of the gates. Trent pursues Scythe’s body seeing him get to his knees before picking up some steam and slamming his boot off the side of Scythe’s face!

Alan Carcia: The King not even worried about his entrance he is here to hurt Scythe and get another shot at McMaster!

Scythe is flung up against the ring apron leaning against it before looking up and dodging out of the way of a clothesline from Harper. Scythe retaliates delivering a knife edge, CHOP! The sound of skin to skin contact echoes in the arena and people cringe as it hits their ears. Scythe grabs Trent around the back of the neck and the waist of his pants tossing Trent into the ring. Scythe slides in after him to get this matchup officially started!

Ding Ding!

Al Locker: There is the bell, this match is officially underway.

The bell rings and Scythe stomps hard on Trent before he can stand back up, he looks around and rushes to the ropes bouncing off them for a lionsault, but Trent rolls out of the way. Scythe showing great agility lands on his feet, but catches him with a dropkick! He is sent down to the other side of the ring using the ropes to pull himself up as Trent charges for him. Quickly Scythe yanks down the top rope sending Trent over and crashing to the outside!

Al Locker: Nice back and forth in the opening moments. Scythe is trying to use his quickness to his advantage against The King.

Alan Carcia: So far that might be the best strategy, it looks like Trent was not expecting this type of offense from Scythe Bloodline.

Scythe doesn’t hesitate to jump from the middle rope to the top turnbuckle pausing only for a second to get his balance before flipping forward diving on top of Trent Harper with a senton. Scythe looks like he hurt himself as well hitting that move, Trent is lying on the ground with a glazed over look as he stares up into the bright lighting of the rafters. The fans ringside are on their feet and banging rapidly on the ringside barricade. Scythe starts to stir sitting up first, he rolls over towards Trent and turns him over before pulling him up in a sitting position against the steel ring steps. Scythe slams his foot off Trent’s head into the steel the metal clanking loudly.

Al Locker: Flesh to metal right there! Trent has to be seeing stars after that hit, what you think Alan?

Alan Carcia: I have to agree Al, it would appear that Scythe really wants to close this fast.

He is still breathing easily as he reaches under the ring looking for something, leaving Trent still lumped over trying to shake off the ringing he has in his ears. Trent crawls on all fours and uses the ring apron to prop himself up on his feet. Scythe has pulled out a table from under the ring using it to slam Trent in the gut. He turns around and sets the table up the fans starting to get worked up over the usage of foreign objects so far. Scythe turns back towards Trent who is hunched over still feeling the sting from the table into his stomach. As Scythe grabs him, Trent seems to snap out of it just long enough to get a handful of Scythe’s long hair. He slams him face first into the top of the steel ring steps. Scythe grabs his face looking at his hands checking for blood. Trent uses the distraction to hit into the steel steps once more Scythe’s face collides with the chrome steps. This time Scythe falls backwards and stares up into the lights like Trent was a few minutes ago.

Al Locker: What a move from Trent The King Harper! That stomp into the steel steps totally caught Scythe by surprise.

Alan Carcia: Yes but will he be able to capitalize on this opening? Trent needs to stay on Scythe and get him back in the ring.

Trent is the first to get up stumbling the first few steps as he rolls Scythe back up to his feet. He hits him with a jab before rolling Scythe back into the ring, but Trent is looking for his own hardware now under the ring and he pulls out a kendo stick. The King rolls into the ring sizing up Scythe as the guy is crawling trying to regain his breath and composure. Trent swings back and then brings the weapon forward hard across Scythe’s back! SNAP! The stick whips off Scythe’s back and he shouts loudly before flipping to his back for defense. Trent doesn’t let up hitting Scythe over the chest this time.

Al Locker: The sound of that kendo stick sounds more sickening each time Trent hits it off of Scythe’s body. I am not sure if I can watch too much more.

Alan Carcia: This is Hardcore Championship wrestling Locker, please get a grip on yourself. Scythe is hurting now things are not looking good at all for him.

Scythe rolls backwards standing up only to take another shot from the kendo stick this time to his ribs. He claps his arms down in spite of the pain blocking Trent from striking him a fourth time. Scythe jumps up into a somersault kick right off Trent’s face causing the King to drop his weapon and stumble backwards. Scythe charges hitting a Flying Forearm Smash. Trent falls back into the corner where Scythe traps him with some hard shots. Trent gets his hands up raking his hands over Scythe’s eyes and gives him a kick in the gut. Trent pushes Scythe up on the turnbuckle looking to the outside where the table that was set up is still sitting.

Al Locker: OH my goodness Alan! These men need to get away from that corner!

Alan Carcia: I don’t think that The King shares your sentiments. He is looking for some big damage!

Trent delivers a punch leaving Scythe teetering as he climbs up the corner, he gives him another punch this time Scythe hanging on by his fingertips as he looks back at the table under him. Trent tucks his head under his arm, but Scythe is desperate. He punches Trent in the ribs getting him to loosen his grip. Scythe gets out of the hold and strikes Trent again he hops up and grabs his head with his legs. Trent blocks the hurricarana! Fans gasp and begin to boo while some hold their breath. Trent repositions Scythe standing up with him in a fisherman suplex position. Trent jumps down drilling Scythe through the table with the Kings Order!

Al Locker: Scythe was reversed! Trent Harper with the King’s Order to Scythe from the top rope through the table on the outside! Oh my God!

Alan Carcia: Both men look broken! We need to get some medic out here!

Trent flops around holding his back, yelling loudly from the horrendous pain shooting up his back. Scythe is laying in the broken table motionless. Fans look with dropped jaws up at the Jumbotron showing the replay of the crash through the table. A replay is shown and  Trent as well as Scythe seem completely incapacitated and the Ref holds up the sign for medical staff. The worry in the building grows.

Al Locker: I don’t think either men can move!

Alan Carcia: They both wanted that title shot at Bitter Enemies bad Al, I guess a little too badly.

Biff Franklin steps out onto the stage, followed by some medics who rush down to ringside and begin to check on both competitors.

Biff: Well, we have tried for three weeks to make a number one contender for the Xtreme Championship. Three times we have failed so it looks like we have two number one contenders for the championship as McMaster will take on both Bloodline and Harper in a triple threat match.

Biff exits the stage.

Al Locker: That seems to make the most sense to me.

Alan Carcia: Scythe and Harper are just neck and neck here and this seems justified. Triple Threat match for the Xtreme Championship at Bitter Enemies. We’ll be right back with our main event!

Alan Carcia: Up next, we have a match ten years in the waiting.

Al Locker: Tyke Index and Lance Mikes have a storied past from best friends to bitter enemies.

Alan Carcia: Ironic that is the name of our next Pay Per View but tonight is a whole different story.

Al Locker: Both these men genuinely believe that they are the corner stone of Hardcore Championship Wrestling.

Alan Carcia: Let’s have a look at the history between these two…

[A video shows Lance Mikes and Tyke Index during the defiance days; a clip shows Lance Mikes holding Tyke Index’ arm aloft in 2008 while Tyke holds the world title with his other hand. There are many clips of both men destroying the likes of Glen Greeney, the Gladiator, Gerard Christ, Vittori, Snakebite and Rushdi ten years ago. There is a still frame which reads:

“Once best friends now bitter enemies”

[The images change to Lance Mikes and Tyke Index in dispute, footage shows Tyke questioning why Lance never bailed him out. We then see Lance Mikes winning the World Championship at War of Attrition followed by him being run over by a car. In the closing scenes of the footage we see Tyke Index defeating Taurus to win the championship and in the very last one we see Lance Mikes hitting Tyke with a Full Stop last week.]

Non-Title
Tyke Index vs. Lance Mikes

Always’ By Saliva begins to play over the sound system in the arena. The fans are fifty-fifty cheering and booing as they know who is about to come. After the lyrics “Always Always Always Always… I just can’t live without you” begin to play out walks Lance Mikes with a smug smile on his face.

Richard Basset: Coming down to the ring first here is…YOURS TRULY…LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANCEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE MIKEEEESSSSSSSSS!!!!

Mikes enters the ring as ‘Drain the Blood’ by the Distillers hits and the HcW World Heavyweight Champion Tyke Index makes his way to the ring with Harvey Goodfellows. The crowd cheer Tyke as he approaches the ring and climbs on the apron. Tyke looks around the crowd before entering the ring and approaching his corner leaning on the top turnbuckle not taking his eyes off of Lance Mikes.

Richard Basset: And his opponent he is the HcW World Heavyweight Champion accompanied to the ring by his business advisor Harvey Goodfellows…TYKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE INDEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEX!!!

Both men go nose to nose center ring and exchange smack talk.

Alan Carcia: You can cut the tension with a knife here Al.

Al Locker: To think that ten years ago both these men were best friends and now they cannot even stand the sight of each other.

Alan Carcia: I don’t blame Lance Mikes for not bailing out Tyke Index, if you were in jail I wouldn’t bail you out Al.

Al Locker: Well that’s nice to know isn’t it? Prick.

Both men lock up center ring, Lance applies a side headlock. Tyke pushes his weight into Lance while in the headlock and throws him into the ropes. Lance knocks down Tyke and stands over him posing. Tyke gets back to his feet. Both men lock up again and this time Tyke throws Lance in a headlock. Lance throws Tyke into the ropes and it is Tyke who barges down Lance to return the favour Tyke stands over Lance and poses.

Al Locker: These men know each other so well.
